Sustainable Mobility

The air quality and the health effects of the emission of gases such as nitrogen oxide (NO2) and suspended particulate matter (PM10) into the atmosphere, are a key challenge that can be found in all of the agendas of large metropolitan areas, such as in Barcelona, Europe and the whole world.

The Foundation takes part in the debate about the quality of air through several projects and agreements, such as the agreement signed with the Corsorci del Parc Natural de Collserola, for a sustainable and safe mobility at Passeig de les Aigües, or the analysis and the proposal of improvement measures, like the new tax of the Catalan Government on CO2 emissions.

Moreover, the Foundation analyses the energy savings and efficiency of mobility, and promotes the individual and professional use of zero-emissions power systems, like electric vehicles.
