Intelligent Mobility

It has been forecasted, that in 2030 all cars will be connected somehow to the Internet. The digital transformation has also reached the mobility of people and opens a huge range of possibilities, from the improvement of the vehicle safety to the access to more information of any type that has an influence on the efficiency of mobility, energy savings or the prevention of accidents. Connected mobility does also raise challenges, such as the ownership and use of the data from private vehicles, possible distractions or ethic dilemmas related to the idea about autonomous driving.

The RACC Foundation is following the evolution of this 2.0 revolution in the field of mobility taking part in and promoting innovative projects in R+D+I and in TIC and the Internet applied to mobility. Intelligent mobility is coming into view as one of the most relevant tools to tend to a more efficient and connected mobility which is at the same time sustainable and safe.
