Energy Savings and Efficiency

The introduction of sources of clean energy, the technological improvements of the engines, efficient driving and the responsible choice of the most efficient mode of transport for each type of travel, are specific measures for energy savings and efficiency in mobility. The RACC Foundation continued to analyse these aspects in order to contribute to a more sustainable mobility, for example with studies on the loss of time caused by traffic congestions.

Following this same line of working in issues related to energy savings, the Foundation became a member in 2014 of the Energy Efficiency Cluster of Catalonia, an entity that has the aim of boosting the field of energy efficiency by means of the collaboration between the associated companies and entities, all of which are from the technological, research, institutional, regulating, industrial, informative and business sectors.
